By setting appropriate thresholds, you can ensure timely alerts for events such as speeding, idling, low battery or authorized hours.
Tailor alert thresholds around specific groups to suit your operational needs.

How to Set Up Alert Settings
Alert Settings
- Log in to your Customer Portal and click ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar.
- Select ‘Alert Settings’ from the left menu.
NOTE: ‘Alert Settings’ is where you update your Time Zone.

- Once you are on Alert Settings you will see adjustable settings for the following alerts:
- General Settings
- Set thresholds and toggle alerts based on your personal and business preferences.
- Update your time zone.
- Tip! Hover over the question marks to see a description of each setting.
- Click ‘SAVE CHANGES’ to set your preferences.
- Authorized Hours
- Set the hours of the day the vehicles are authorized to drive.
- If a vehicle is driven outside of these defined hours the trip will be considered “unauthorized.”
- Click ‘SAVE CHANGES’ to set your hours.
- Set the hours of the day the vehicles are authorized to drive.
- Inactivity Alerts
- Get alerted when your trackers do not have an ignition on event or do not leave a geofence for your specified period of authorized days.
- NOTE: Days without any authorized hours do not count toward the total number of days.
- Click ‘SAVE CHANGES’ to set your preferences.

- Geofence Speeding Alerts
- Receive an alert when a tracker exceeds a speed threshold within a geofence.
- Click ‘SAVE CHANGES’ to set your preferences.
- Dash Cam Aggressive Driving
- These alerts notify of potential motion-based, distracted driving events identified by a dash cam in the vehicle.
- General Settings
NOTE: You can set alerts for General Settings, Authorized Hours, and Inactivity Alerts by groups.
